Character Coach/Chaplain Program

How do I request help to find a Character Coach/Chaplain to work with my team?

1) Send an e-mail to Cfoster@fca.org.
2) Please send us your name, school, sport, phone number, and e-mail.
3) We will contact you to start the process of finding a Chaplain.

How do I get started if I am interested in serving as a Character Coach/Chaplain?

1) Complete Ministry Leader Application
        -http://www.fca.org/hotpicks/mla.lsp

2) Interview with local FCA Staff or Chaplain Development Team
        -Call local office to set up a 30 minute interview
 
3)  Complete Initial Chaplain Training 
        -Contact local staff for up-coming training dates and times
        -Training includes reviewing resources, commitment, and reporting 
      
4)  Team Placement
        -Chaplains request school and team of choice
        -FCA staff will work with local coaches to place Chaplains

5)  Complete Stage 2 Chaplain Training
        -Teamchaplains.org


On-going Chaplain Expectations

1) Bi-monthly 30 minute conference calls with local staff for prayer, training, and encouragement
2) Atleast 1-2 30 minute weekly visits with your coaches and team
3) Post Season Evaluation
